About Scooch
Start your journey together! Apply now. Scooch’s story began with a courageous fight for survival—rescued as a tiny kitten after a tragic accident left him paralyzed from the mid-back down. Despite his limited mobility, Scooch refuses to let anything dampen his delightful spirit. His unique way of getting around hasn’t stopped him from eagerly scooting over for his absolute favorite things: being petted and snuggling up in a warm lap. He’s endlessly affectionate, thriving on human connection and thoroughly enjoying every gentle handoff from person to person. Scooch’s paralysis means he can’t control when he goes to the bathroom, so he needs someone to help express him three times daily. On the plus side, you’ll never have to clean a litter box! If you’ve ever let a dog outside on a schedule, you’ll find Scooch’s needs surprisingly familiar. What truly sets Scooch apart is his loving and friendly nature—he’ll happily spend nearly every waking moment cuddling if you let him. He gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and children, making him a wonderful addition to just about any compassionate home. Born on June 4, he’s a sociable Gemini, known for his playful and engaging personality. Ready to welcome this remarkable little survivor into your family? They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
