Meet Moon! Moon was surrendered and was extremely under-socialized and shutdown. Staff and volunteers worked tirelessly to work with him and we have reached a point where Moon is ready to find a home! He has learned leash skills and does very well on walks. He still startles at loud and unfamiliar noises but bounces back with some reassurance. Moon sits for treats and accepts them gently. Once he's comfortable in his environment, Moon is very playful. He enjoys chasing after squeaky toys, tennis balls, and likes chew toys. He likes a fun round of tug of war and is even learning to fetch! Moon can be jumpy when he's excited but is learning the commands for down, off, and is getting the hang of sitting when he wants attention. Moon has blossomed into a loving and friendly pup. He will do best in a quiet home with the patience to let him come out of his shell at his own pace. Come in and meet Moon today!
