Xochitl is a senior Domestic Short Hair with a striking orange-red coat, currently living in Lakewood, CO. At 8 years and 5 months old, she is spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. Though she is considered extra-large in size, she carries herself with classic feline grace. Xochitl is looking for a home where she’ll be the only cat and her needs can be met with care and understanding.

About Xochitl

Meet Xochitl! Pronounced SOW-cheel, she’s a big presence—eight years old and packed with personality. Xochitl has been with Cat Care Society since December 18, 2024, making herself known with her unmistakable evening songs. Her favorite routines? She’ll happily people-watch from the window, chase after bubbles, stretch lazily on her preferred scratching post, and make a hobby out of silently judging the other cats. Xochitl wants to be the only cat in her domain; she doesn’t mix well with others and will need to be the solo pet. At her age, she has a few medical needs, and the CCS staff will walk you through everything she requires. Visits to her foster home are encouraged—you just might find yourself smitten with this senior lady, quirks and all. If you’ve got extra affection to offer a Lonely Hearts Club cat, Xochitl is waiting for a shot at her own happily ever after. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
