About Freya
Freya is a beautiful Hound/Terrier mix with soft, expressive eyes and a gentle spirit. She was born in January 2023 and weighs about 55 lbs, making her an excellent size for snuggling or exploring new places by your side. Freya’s journey started in a tough place—she was found on an abandoned property taking care of eight puppies that weren’t even hers, proving just how nurturing she is at her core. Even when she didn’t have to, she stayed and protected those pups, a testament to her loyalty and heart. Right now, Freya is recovering from cherry-eye surgery in a loving foster home, where everyone agrees she’s the sweetest soul around. She wants nothing more than to be near her people, soak up affection, and curl up for cuddles. Freya delights in belly rubs and is convinced she’s a lap dog, despite her sturdy build. She gets along with kids, other dogs, and even cats. Freya has no food aggression, handles the leash well, and fits comfortably into a home routine. Her gentle nature, affectionate demeanor, and eagerness to please make her a quietly remarkable companion. She’s ready for a home that values her loving ways—maybe that home is yours.
