Freya is a beautiful Hound/Terrier mix with the softest eyes and the kindest heart. Born in January 2023 and weighing about 55 lbs, she’s the perfect medium size for cuddles, couch time, and daily adventures. Freya’s story begins on an abandoned property, where she was found caring for eight puppies that weren’t even hers. She didn’t have to stay. She didn’t have to protect them. But she did—because that’s who Freya is. A nurturer with an incredible capacity for love. She is currently in a medical foster home recovering from cherry-eye surgery, and her foster family says she is truly the absolute sweetest. Freya lives for affection and closeness and just wants to be near her people. She adores belly rubs, loves to snuggle, and despite her size is fully convinced she’s a lap dog. Freya has done wonderfully with kids, other dogs, and even cats. She has no food aggression, walks beautifully on a leash, and settles easily into home life. She’s gentle, affectionate, and eager to please—the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart and makes your house feel like home. After everything she’s been through, Freya is ready for her happily ever after.
