This Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard mix (best guess!) is learning what it means to feel safe - and she's clearly quite happy about it! She arrived at the sanctuary quite emaciated and is clearly grateful for the consistent meals and care, already showing how resilient she is. She's the mom to five 5-week-old puppies and has done a wonderful job caring for them, even while recovering herself. She's very sweet with people, loves attention, and does well with other dogs. Overall, she's enthusiastic, engaged, and eager for routine.
