What a sweetheart! This beautiful three year old girl is so friendly and affectionate. She was rescued from the Bronx in December and she was clearly meant to be an indoor cat- she’s the sweetest! Rogue is a great cat for someone who like to chill on the couch. She loves her catnip banana, but overall she’s a low energy cat. She is very affectionate with her human and definitely loves petting and head scratches. She’s the cat that will always happily take a pat or other affection anytime you walk by her (let’s consider it a toll). She’s also very food motivated. In line with her chill behavior, she’s a quiet lady- unless it is time to eat, in which case she will be chatty until you remember to feed her. She can take a while to settle in, and she is friendly and shy at the same time. Hiding is her go to behavior when she is nervous or uncertain, but she always loves receiving affection. She loves her little cat house, so a home that is mindful of a patient transition and giving her small huts to hide in would be great. Rogue is probably best as a solo cat. She’s not a fan of the male cat in her foster home, and is indifferent to the female. She’s not likely to be a bestie for a resident cat. With this in mind, she can go home alone, or maybe with a quiet senior that wants to be left alone as much as she wants to be left alone. Rogue hasn’t met dogs or children. Since she’s a little shy, a home without children would likely be more comfortable for her. We don’t know how she’d be with a dog. If you have a quieter home and are looking to give a wonderful, loving forever home to a gorgeous single young cat, Rogue should be on your short list.
