About Stuart
This sweet boy is a 2-ish year old wiry mix pup named Stuart! He got that name because he reminds us of Stuart Little. :) He is a gentle, playful long legged guy that loves to be loved! He came to RRDR with 18 other pups that were from a local lady that got in trouble with the law and had to give up all of the animals. He loves to be held, and snuggle on the couch. He is learning to kennel up when it is time. He's a super smart boy that would be a great addition to just about any home! <3 Stuart has had all vetting completed and is ready to go to his new home! If you’re interested in adopting-go here to apply! https://rockindachshunds.com/adoptionApp DO NOT REPLY TO THIS AD-All applications must be submitted through our website. Unfortunately, we cannot respond to Petfinder inquiries directly. Prior to adoption-all of the dogs will be up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, heart worm tested, given a 6-month heart worm prevention shot, have a dental cleaning if needed, be microchipped, as well as any other vetting needs that arise. ***The rescue is located in Leavenworth KS. We do REQUIRE an-IN PERSON home visit so keep this in mind before applying.*** If you are unsure if you're too far away to adopt-email us at RRDRAPPS@gmail.com to verify. Our "usual" rule is 1 hour away from the rescue, but we may have someone in your area. Thank you for making the choice to adopt a dog. Please allow time for the application to be processed. Once an application has been pre-approved, the applicant will be notified, and the foster of the animal of interest will be notified to contact the applicant to schedule a meet and greet. After that a home visit will be done. The volume of applications, and other rescue obligations dictate the length of time it takes. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received. However, meet and greets are scheduled in the order in which applications are approved. Incomplete applications, failure to respond promptly to inquiries, veterinary clinics which require permission to release information, etc. slow down the rate of processing. RRDR is run 100% by volunteers. Thank you for your patience.
