Troubadour, affectionately known as Tru, is a very friendly mixed-breed boy who has come an incredibly long way. He arrived at our rescue severely neglected--emaciated and spending nearly all of his time confined to a crate. Despite this difficult start, Tru has shown just how resilient and loving he truly is. We've been working with him on crate training and potty training, and he is making wonderful progress, especially considering his past. Tru gets along with most dogs, though he's most comfortable with dogs similar in size and does best with neutered companions, as he isn't a fan of much larger dogs or intact males. What Tru loves most? People. He adores human attention and bonds deeply with those who show him kindness. Even though he's over a year old, he still has the sweet, puppy-like face that melts hearts.
