Lenny Est DOB 7/25 Adoption fee $225 This little bundle of cuteness just came to us after being surrendered by his owner. Back in August of 2025, Lenny wound up at the local shelter as a five week old kitten and was taken in to foster by a shelter volunteer who intended to adopt him for her father. Long story, short, things didn’t work out and she was not able to keep him so she reached out to LapCats for help. He has been in foster care with us since the end of January (2026) and settled right in to his new environment. He’s a curious little guy that gets along well with cat friendly dogs and cats. The cat in the original home was a senior and not interested in Lenny‘s kitten antics. He’ll need a friend to play with that is equally as active as he! He loves people and being held like a baby. He’s absolutely precious! The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are vaccinated. If they have been rescued as kittens under 4 months, they will not have a rabies vaccine. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
