About East
East is a medium-sized, golden poodle mix who’s about seven years old. She spent most of her early life without kindness, used for breeding and then turned out when she wasn’t needed anymore. Rescue brought her a second chance, but East is still learning that people can be gentle and caring. She’s timid, often hanging back or hiding at first, but she’s starting to blossom in her foster home with a patient routine and a steady, kind approach. East is not yet house trained and will need a family that understands progress comes slowly for a dog with her background. She does best around other dogs, drawing comfort and confidence from a gentle canine companion. For East’s safety, she’ll need a securely fenced yard as she may try to escape if frightened. Her future family must be steady, understanding, and “all in” on patience, especially during those first weeks. East’s heart is cautious, but with continued compassion, she’ll find her way to trust. Her foster sibling West was adopted and is now thriving, and East deserves her happy ending too. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
