Meet Tansy 3-year-old pocket pittie | Certified cuddle bug | Professional face-licker Tansy is a sweet little pocket pittie who is really starting to shine in a home setting. She seems to be housebroken and makes it through the night with no problem, though she'll do best with a family that keeps her on a consistent potty schedule to help avoid any accidents. She isn't a big fan of going into her crate, but once she's in, she settles pretty quickly. Tansy enjoys toys and loves a good game of tug, but what she loves most of all is other dogs. She is very social and playful with a rougher, more physical play style, so she'd be happiest with a dog who enjoys that kind of fun. Tansy is extremely affectionate and a bit of a "Velcro dog." Licking is absolutely her love language - expect to wake up to a dog sitting on your chest, gently pinning your arms, while she tries to kiss your entire face. If another dog is getting attention, she firmly believes she should be included too. She can be a little bundle of awkward who occasionally walks right into your legs, so while she would likely do well with kids, a home with sturdier children may be best rather than very little ones who are still unsteady on their feet. Tansy hasn't been too interested in getting into trouble and responds well to gentle correction. She is still somewhat fearful of new things and sudden noises, and can startle easily, but she warms up quickly and adjusts well with a little reassurance.
