Busy or unfamiliar situations can make him uneasy, especially during transitions like returning indoors, but with patience and encouragement he's able to move forward and settle. My Ideal Home Sterling would thrive in a calm, adult-only home with a predictable routine and patient adopters who are comfortable going at his pace. A quieter environment and positive, reward-based training will help him build confidence, especially around transitions and new situations. Good with Other Pets? Sterling has shown mild dog interest. He may stare and become tense at times but has been redirectable with treats and guidance. Slow, thoughtful introductions are important. Leash Manners Sterling's leash skills are generally mild and manageable. He may pull a bit at first but often settles into the walk, checks in with his handler, and responds well to treats. Sterling is friendly with people, and when it comes to other dogs outside, he's pretty unbothered - he'd rather focus on his human than make a fuss. He also does great in the car, making him the perfect companion for peaceful rides... as long as they end somewhere cozy.
