About Nacho
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Nacho is a young adult chi-weenie with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Sweet, affectionate, and bursting with energy, he thrives on love and attention—nothing makes him happier than ear and neck scratchies. Nacho will let you know, in his polite way, when he wants to be picked up and snuggled. He is generally quiet and calm, even giving noisy pups a look that means he values his peace and quiet. Nacho is truly clever, having completed the PAWs to Prison training program and demonstrating an impressive list of commands—ready to show off his skills for a treat! He’s always eager to please, loves learning new things, and will gladly work for snacks. You’ll often catch him basking in the sun or lounging in his favorite cozy spot when he isn’t busy with training. Friendly and especially fond of small female dogs, Nacho is dog-social and gentle, preferring harmony over conflict. While he’s crate trained, he is still working on his house training and would benefit from a dedicated adopter who can guide him as he perfects this. His playful side is impossible to miss—he adores carrying around his favorite toy and can be seen thoughtfully considering whether to set it down for dinner, a little ritual that reveals his fun and gentle nature. Nacho is ready to bring joy, warmth, and laughter into the home of someone who is excited to welcome a truly endearing companion. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
