About Bella Has Epilepsy
Bella is a striking, blue-eyed Husky who has a zest for life and doesn’t let her epilepsy slow her down. At two years old, she found herself needing a new beginning after her previous owner surrendered her due to a first seizure. Since then, Bella's joyful and social spirit has shined. She quickly became a favorite at her doggie daycare, where she runs and plays with dogs of all sizes, and she happily cuddles up with her foster family's Chihuahua on the sofa. Car rides and new adventures make her tail wag, and her unique look always draws compliments wherever she goes. Bella’s epilepsy is well-managed with a combination of phenobarbital and zonisamide, though she still may have occasional breakthrough seizures. Her future family needs to be prepared for lifelong management of her condition, including a willingness and ability to provide the necessary medical care and stability. She will need a home ready for the realities of her special needs, but Bella’s affectionate, friendly, and playful personality more than repays the effort. She is fully vetted—spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, and ready to meet a family who can cherish her for who she is. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
