About Melon

Melon is a laid-back, gentle spirit who brings an easy-going vibe to any home. At nine years old, he’s reached that sweet spot of maturity where relaxation is a priority, but he’ll still bat at a toy or two from time to time. Melon enjoys following people around the house and keeps a watchful eye on the world from his favorite perch by the window. He has a curious streak—especially when pigeons are in view—but overall prefers lounging and quiet companionship. Recently, Melon had his teeth removed, making dental care a thing of the past. He is also FIV+, but this doesn't slow him down or keep him from living peacefully with other cats. Melon is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He’s currently working towards a healthier weight and doing great. Melon’s affectionate nature and calm demeanor make him a good fit for households with children and other cats. As a fun astrological note: born under the sign of Capricorn, Melon brings a patient, steady energy to the home, always making the most of a cozy nap or a quiet evening with his humans.
