About Jangers

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Jangers is a 7-year-old, 75+ pound pit bull with a heart as big as he is. He came into the rescue after his family, who loved him dearly, had to surrender him due to a move and were unable to take him along. Now, this gentle giant is hoping for a second chance at a loving forever home. Jangers is sweet, calm, and affectionate—a true companion who finds happiness simply being near his people. He does wonderfully with children and is fully housetrained, making him an easy addition to any loving home. In his last home, Jangers lived peacefully with another dog; while he may do well with canine friends, a meet-and-greet is recommended just to ensure the right fit. He’s used to having a spacious yard where he could stretch his legs, enjoy the outdoors, and make sure local squirrels and groundhogs didn’t overstay their welcome. Jangers is looking for a home where he can have some space to roam, enjoy regular walks, and soak up lots of affection. If you want a loyal, gentle, and well-mannered companion who’s beyond the puppy antics and ready to settle into a loving routine, Jangers could be your perfect match. He’s ready to give his whole heart to someone new—are you the one to open your home to him? Jangers was born on January 22, making him an Aquarius—a sign known for being friendly and devoted. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
