About Dozier
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Dozier is an adorable 1-year-old Boxer with a brindle, short coat who recently found his way to safety after coming from a tough start. As the litter-mate of Sweet Pea, he did not receive much early socialization and the world still seems a bit overwhelming to him. Despite this, Dozier is incredibly sweet and gentle, showing more confidence each day as he adjusts to a loving environment. Dozier came into rescue with skin issues believed to be flea allergy dermatitis, but he is getting better with treatment. He is now up-to-date on his vaccines, on heartworm prevention, has been microchipped, and will be neutered this week. Dozier would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time and who understands he might need extra love and patience as he continues to discover the joys of being a cherished companion. Fun fact: as a Sagittarius, Dozier may soon surprise you with his adventurous spirit once he’s comfortable in his forever home! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
