About Stevie
Click apply to start the adoption process. Stevie is a gentle and sweet 6-year-old female cat seeking a calm and peaceful home where she can feel safe. Naturally shy and quiet, Stevie prefers a tranquil environment and takes her time to settle in, but once comfortable, she shows her affectionate side and enjoys being near her trusted person. She especially loves slow, gentle pets on her head and back, although her belly is off-limits, and she feels safest with all four paws on the ground—lap-sitting and being held aren’t her style. Stevie prefers her own cozy sleeping spots rather than sharing your bed and is not highly playful, though she may find some amusement with string or ribbon toys on occasion. This lovely cat is mildly vocal with a soft meow and enjoys the comfort of routine, consistently using pee pads and eating dry food throughout the day, sometimes indulging in a Churu, wet food, or cat soup treat. Her long, luxurious fur requires some maintenance, as it’s prone to matting, but brushing is not her favorite activity. Stevie hasn’t shown interest in scratching posts, and while she’s never swatted, scratched, or bitten, she may be uneasy around new people or loud noises. For the adopter who values a peaceful home and appreciates quiet companionship, Stevie is a calming and rewarding presence who thrives in a one-on-one, gentle environment. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
