About Dottie

Dottie is a mellow, affectionate cat who thrives on attention and loves to curl up in laps for afternoon naps. She watches birds and squirrels from the window with a calm curiosity, but she also has a playful streak and gets the zoomies now and then. Her favorite things include head scratches, feather wand toys, and games of hide and seek. Dottie is mostly laid-back but still has bursts of energy. She'd be happiest as the only cat in the household. Dottie hasn’t gotten along well with other cats she's met, though she might tolerate a quieter, older cat in the right home. She does have an old eye injury that limits her depth perception and peripheral vision, so she must stay indoors. No special eye care is needed. Dottie is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, negative for FIV and FeLV, and recently had a dental cleaning. All her vet records are available. She is currently in Raleigh, NC and looking for a calm, caring home where she can nap, play, and be loved. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
