It appears that Betsy recently had puppies and was living in the car of a neighbor of the person who found her before she was brought to safety. Despite this difficult start, Betsy has shown nothing but kindness and quiet resilience. She is currently in recovery, gaining weight, and learning what it means to be safe, warm, and cared for. Betsy has a calm, tender personality and seems grateful for every gentle word and kind touch. She is still building her strength, but her affectionate spirit is already very clear.
