About Poppy
This could be the start of something paw-some. Poppy is a very sweet Miniature Pinscher who adores cuddling and leisurely walks. While she tends to be on the quiet side, she's recently discovered her bark and uses her little nub tail to excitedly show her feelings. Her energy level is just rightโshe enjoys lounging with her people as much as she loves spending time outdoors exploring the backyard and soaking up the sun. Poppy is house trained and does wonderfully on a leash, walking calmly and pausing to sniff interesting scents. She gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats, showing patience and respect to her furry companions, including being very tolerant of playful puppies and allowing cats plenty of space. She's also great around small children and makes a loving and loyal companion. Poppy is learning cues like "stay" and "touch" and is very food motivated, sometimes approaching plates if given the chance. Her signals to go potty are subtle, so she needs someone attentive who can take her outside regularly. Poppy is comfortable sleeping in her kennel or on her bed and is fine left alone for a few hours, happily snoozing until her family returns. Her ideal home is one where she will be showered with affection, walked regularly, and loved as the sweet, devoted companion she is. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
