About Miss Magoo
Miss Magoo came into the world on June 7, 2023, and has been raised in the loving hands of her foster since she was just a day old. She was born blind, but over time has learned to navigate her world with impressive resilience. Moving to a new home will take her some time and patience as she figures out her bearings—she’ll need a kind adopter to help her learn where her food, bed, and litter box are, and to gently redirect her if she gets a bit lost at first. Once settled, she adapts quickly. Having a friendly resident cat, kitten, or gentle small dog is a real plus for Miss Magoo; she enjoys following a buddy and picks up cues from them. Larger dogs or homes with small children aren’t the best fit since she can sometimes get underfoot and wouldn’t want to cause any accidents. Miss Magoo is as sweet as they come—she loves being held, petted, and cozied up to, and once she trusts you, she’ll seek out your affection and offer plenty of purrs and head rubs. She enjoys an occasional romp with toys, climbs her cat tree for fun and comfort, and will sometimes snuggle up with you at night, though she’s just as happy in her own space. She’s fine being picked up as long as she’s held securely, since not knowing where the ground is can make her nervous. Cancerians like Miss Magoo are said to love home and comfort, and that rings true for her. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
