Olaf is a 6 year old Pittie who survived a heartbreaking situation of abuse and neglect in Colorado. He was frequently attacked by a large male dog in the home, with no protection from his owners. Thankfully, both he and Elsa were confiscated and brought to safety. Olaf may look tough, but he’s truly the perfect mix of sweet, sensitive, and deeply trusting once he feels safe. He is also deaf, which means he’ll need a patient family committed to understanding his unique needs and continuing his specialized training. Olaf has been working with us and is trained now at the rescue. This boy wants so badly to believe in people again. With a calm, experienced home and plenty of love, Olaf will flourish into the loyal, tender companion he’s meant to be.
