Meet Willy Willy is a stunning ginger boy with the sweetest soul. At just 2.5 years old, he was heartbreakingly abandoned when his family moved and left him behind. When we first took him in, Willy was confused and clearly grieving—waiting for the people he loved to come back. It was devastating to see. But once he realized he was safe, everything changed. Willy quickly began to open up into the affectionate, playful, and good-natured boy he truly is. He’s calm and easygoing overall, with just the right amount of playful energy mixed in. He enjoys attention and bonding with his people, though he prefers to build trust first—he isn’t a fan of being scooped up by just anyone right away. Once he’s comfortable, though, he’s all love. He’s known for giving gentle little love nibbles, so we feel he’d do best in a home with older children who understand cat boundaries rather than very young kids. Willy seems to do well around other cats, and we’re continuing to observe and test his compatibility, but he has shown positive signs so far. He is fully vetted, healthy, and ready for his forever home. Willy is currently located in the Bronx, and transportation can be arranged for the right family.
