Sophia and her brother Breslin are litter mates who have been together their entire lives. They were born on 3/22/2022 and were adopted together as kittens. Recently, their human had to move and can no longer keep them. Though their mama was a stray who lived outside, they have been indoor cats ever since they were little. They are a bonded pair. Sophia is a charcoal gray shorthair with green eyes. She is spayed and up to date on all her shots. Sophia is the boss. If someone new comes into the home, brother Breslin might hide, but she meets the new person at the door (expecting that person to understand that she is in charge, of course!) She is fearless and curious and very smart. She loves treats and will cuddle in your lap for a nap. She loves to play, especially with crackly or jingly sounding toys, and she adores the springs! She doesn't talk much, but when she captures a toy, she will march around in triumph with it in her mouth, meowing to announce her victory to all. She will also hunt down any bug that gets into the house! Breslin (also known as Mr. B) is a lighter gray medium hair with green eyes. He is neutered and up to date on all his shots. If Sophia is the boss, Breslin is the mush ball. He's a goofy boy and often does silly things, like sleeping on the cat tree with his head hanging over the side upside down, or diving head first into a box with only his tail sticking out straight up into the air. He's very affectionate once he gets past his shyness. He loves to be petted but not on his head. He's a big fan of the wand toys and will leap high and sometimes do flips while playing with them. He also loves the springs. Mr. B is a big fan of the laser or the reflection of something on the wall, like the sun bouncing off the face of your watch. He is determined to capture it! He is also the talker of the two, though not excessively. Usually only if dinner is late. <3 These two are constantly snuggling together with their paws around each other, often grooming each other. They also play-wrestle and play tag. If one of them is being petted or getting treats, the other one comes running. They will regard the human with two pairs of identical green eyes, patiently waiting for equal adoration--which of course we provide! Sophia and Breslin have lived with other cats and been exposed to visiting children. Since he's shy, Breslin might hide for a while from very young kids, but Sophia will often hang out, even if it's from a distance. Both of them are even-tempered and will retreat if something bothers them.
