Caliber is a ton of fun! He never stops wiggling with delight when anybody passes by his pen. He and his sister, Savannah, shown with him in the same pen, came in with other littermates 10/27/25 at age 8 weeks. These photos and the video were taken 1/24/26 when the pups were 5 months old. These puppies have been stuck in a noisy chaotic shelter for months but are still as happy and playful as ever. We hope someone will adopt one or both soon. Their other littermates have all been adopted. Some of the puppies in this litter have really short legs, like Savannah as though mixed with Corgi or Dachshund and some have longer legs like Caliber. The staff had guessed that they were Chihuahua mixed with Terrier when they were younger and smaller. But now it looks more like Caliber might be Chocolate Lab mixed with Terrier or something else. There can be more than one dad dog that a mom dog got pregnant by so that is why puppies in the same litter can be different breed mixes. Caliber will likely be medium in size when grown. The adoption rate for the puppies under age 6 months that are too young to spay or neuter is $50 plus a $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit. Once you get the puppy spayed/neutered, you email us proof and the $100 deposit will be refunded. The puppies over age 6 months and adult dogs that are already spayed or neutered have an adoption amount of $200 and there is no deposit taken.
