About Chili
Meet Chili! This small, curious boy started off shy, preferring to stay hidden when he first arrived in his foster home. Over time, he’s become braver, now exploring his surroundings and getting into playtime with his foster kitten siblings. While he isn’t big on being held, Chili does enjoy spending time around other cats and is happiest when he can be part of the action nearby. His foster mom has gently helped him get more comfortable with being petted or picked up, but Chili still needs a patient family willing to let him adjust at his own pace. He would thrive in a quiet environment with extra love and care, and enjoys gentle company. Chili gets along well with other cats and is also good with children, making him a great companion for families who can offer him stability and patience as he settles in. Chili is living in West Des Moines, IA, and as a July 9th birthday boy, he’s got a little bit of Cancer sun sign sensitivity—expect some sweet and endearing quirks.
