Meet Pumpkin Many of you have been following his health journey since we rescued him last December. He was in the worst shape one could imagine. Torn up by dogs or coyotes, had festering wounds with maggots, starving, one eye gouged out YET he wanted to live! Daren who owns the Sanctuary immediately started caring for him. Hand picking out dead and live maggots from the deep wounds in his hind quarters and spending as much money at the vets as needed to treat him. All the while he fought to live! He is 9 years old and deserves the chance to live in a loving home with his beloved heating pad and eating the expensive wet food he loves. We pray he is adopted soon into a quiet home and treated like a king for the rest of his life. He is now healthy and ready to go to a forever home. He is very friendly.
