About Mambo

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Mambo is a joyful and big-hearted American Bully/Pit Bull Terrier mix who is about 5 years old and weighs roughly 75 lbs. After a difficult start, being saved just hours before euthanasia at a crowded Kansas shelter, Mambo made his way to Colorado where he entered a specialized board and train program designed to give him every opportunity to thrive. His training has focused on building confidence, happiness, and social skills, and his progress has been remarkable. To ensure Mambo’s continued success, his adopters will receive an eight-week training class—completely free—so everyone in his new family understands what he’s learned and can reinforce his good habits together. This requirement is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who loves to bond through learning and training. Mambo loves romping with friends in the yard and has the personality of an overgrown puppy. He’s a true “bull in a china shop,” exuberant and goofy, making every day an adventure. Mambo needs a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy his playful side. He gets along beautifully with most other dogs and adores learning new things, soaking up positive attention and direction quickly. Mambo also takes oral medication for allergies, and participation in the rescue’s Board and Train Program continues to support his well-being. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
