This Siberian Husky is an adult female with a beautiful black and white/cream medium-length coat. She is considered medium-sized, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. Coraline is house trained and currently in the care of AZ Husky Rescue. Her gentle temperament and medium energy level make her a wonderful companion.

Coraline is a 3-year-old sweetheart who was brought into the rescue after being at risk due to a medical concern involving increased pressure in one eye. From the moment she was found and welcomed into the shelter, her gentle and kind nature shone through—she is calm around kids, loves being petted, and is always ready with kisses. With the help of a caring foster, her medical needs were assessed thoroughly. In her foster home, Coraline has settled beautifully with thoughtful introductions. Early on, she occasionally tried to 'herd' the other dogs when play became too rambunctious, sometimes nipping at legs or feet. This has improved greatly and now only happens if things get very rowdy. She is playful, social, and enjoys both small and large dogs, though she does like taking charge. Coraline is a medium-energy girl who delights in walks, mealtimes, belly rubs, cuddles, and affection. She is comfortable in a crate when left alone, but prefers to be out with the other dogs when her foster family is home. Like many rescue dogs adjusting to home life, she is still learning some boundaries such as counter surfing, chewing non-dog items, jumping up, and minor resource guarding with other dogs—but she responds well to correction and is improving daily. Coraline would thrive in an active home, but she is versatile and could do well with many family types, especially if she has another dog companion. Due to her vision challenges, she prefers to stay close to her people and may get underfoot, so a home with children aged 7 or older is ideal for everyone's safety. Her reaction to cats is unknown, as she hasn't lived with them. Coraline is a loving, gentle-hearted girl eager to shine in a forever home that will cherish her.
