About Pepper

Pepper has been part of our rescue since 2019, making her the longest resident at Animal Advocates. She had a rough beginning and came to us with a group of cats rescued after a house fire. Initially, she was quite suspicious of people, but with time and plenty of positive reinforcement, she's learned to trust again. She enjoys playful moments with wand toys and loves receiving treats and pets from her favorite volunteers. An ideal home for Pepper would belong to experienced cat owners who can offer her love and allow her to grow into her true self. She thrives in a calm environment and doesn’t do well with children, so an adult-only home would be best. While she happily gets along with other cats, she still needs time to adjust to her humans. To highlight her special nature, our volunteers have sponsored her adoption fees, making it easier for someone to bring Pepper home.
