About Decker
Decker, often called "Chicken Boy," is a three-year-old tabby with a soft, medium coat who’s mastered the art of comfort. After a rough start surviving outside while managing diabetes, Decker has settled into indoor life and has a newfound love for curling up on the couch with his people. He’s calm and cuddly on his terms but always nearby, whether he's snuggled on your lap during TV time or quietly hanging out by your side. While a touch shy around loud noises or new situations, he relaxes quickly in a gentle, peaceful home. Decker gets along well with other cats and would likely do fine with calm dogs or respectful children. He’s reliably litter trained and will win you over with his affection—especially if you offer him bites of rotisserie chicken. Decker takes insulin shots twice a day for his diabetes, but he’s cooperative about it and stays healthy with this routine. He’s neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on his vaccinations. Decker is looking for a calm home that can appreciate his steady, loving presence (and maybe share a little chicken). Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
