Leeno is a male Domestic Short Hair with orange and red coloring, currently in Pahoa, HI. At about nine months old, he’s young, small, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He has shown a gentle, clean, and somewhat shy temperament around other cats and dogs.

About Leeno

Leeno’s story started under a banana tree, where he took cover from barking dogs with his brother Felix. Their early weeks were rough—they were skinny, scrappy kittens with bald patches and bloated bellies. Once brought inside, Leeno slowly warmed up to humans, showing affection at first with plenty of cuddles. Later, he grew a bit more independent, preferring to observe from a distance, but he’s always careful with hygiene and is reliably litter trained—something not every kitten manages so young. He’s been around chickens, other cats, and even big dogs without issue. Leeno had a few stops on his way to availability: he spent time regaining his strength in a calmer home and then settled for a while with two big dogs and resident cats in another foster home. Now, he’s around nine months old (a neat Virgo, if you’re counting star signs), spayed, and has completed his vaccinations. Leeno brings a gentle, clean, slightly shy energy, and has shown that he gets along well with other cats and dogs. He’s ready for a new chapter, after a decidedly eventful start to life. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
