About Millie
Millie’s story starts in La Paz, Mexico, where she was rescued in early 2025 after being found tied behind a fence with a serious injury to her leg. She received the care she needed, made a full recovery, and now lives in a foster home in California. Millie is about 7 years old and weighs around 47 pounds. She’s house and kennel trained, gets along with both cats and dogs, and is affectionate with every person she meets. This pup keeps things pretty mellow—a medium-to-low energy level, happiest with toys, stretching out for a nap on the couch, or simply being close to her people. She sometimes acts shy initially, but opens up fast and shows off her goofy side as soon as she’s comfortable. For Millie, a home with another confident dog would go a long way in helping her keep building up her own confidence. She’s currently being fostered in Palm Springs, California, but is available for meet-and-greets anywhere in Southern California. With a flexible foster-to-adopt option, you get the chance to see if Millie is the perfect fit before finalizing things. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
