NAPOLEON 🥰 In a world of fast-paced rescues and bright, hopeful stories, Napoleon’s wish is a quiet echo, a simple plea carried on the cold winter wind. One year old, fully vetted/HW- (thanks to our amazing friends at the vet college), housebroken, and bouncing around like a handful of spilled Skittles, Napoleon is a package of pure joy waiting for a lap to call his own. He is an amazing boy—great with kids, dogs, and all people he meets. (Note: Due to his enthusiasm, cats are not the best sibling choice). He’ll play fetch with you all day long; he just asks for a little grace when he keeps the ball, preferring a game of sweet keep-away to a typical return. He adores treats, especially a stray French fry, a small joy he discovered during his time as a lonely stray. But as the days grow short and the lights go up, a quiet sadness settles over his bright spirit. Napoleon has only one item on his Christmas list this year. He hasn't asked for a squeaky toy or a new leash. His simple, earnest prayer, whispered to the frosty air each night, is just for a home. He wants a fireplace to nap beside, a family to protect, and someone to bring the ball back to. He is ready for a life where he is no longer just a temporary guest, but a cherished member of a family.
