About Leia
Leia started life in a tough spot—her feral mother was lost early on, leaving Leia and her five siblings to be cared for by humans from a very young age. But she's grown into a gorgeous mitted brown tabby with incredibly soft, plush short fur and a gentle, affectionate spirit. Mornings are her favorite—she'll seek out human company right away, often demanding pets even before thinking about breakfast. Leia has no problem making it known when she wants a cuddle, and once you pick her up, you might have trouble putting her down. While she is energetic and fiercely playful (especially with toys), Leia also loves to nap on laps. Her legs may be short, but she moves with surprising athleticism. Public events make her a bit shy, but in a quieter home setting, she opens up and enjoys attention from both children and adults. Leia has been socialized with other cats and small children and is likely happiest with a friendly companion nearby. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and litter box trained. Born July 7th, Leia is a Cancer—these cats are known for being especially affectionate and loyal. Leia is waiting in Orange, CA for a loving family to appreciate her sweet nature.
