About Nacho
Nacho lives with his foster mom and several other cats. He started out nervous—born to a feral mom on a farm and rescued with his siblings, Nacho was the last of the bunch to come out of his shell. Now, he loves to snuggle, especially at night when things are quiet and safe. His short, thick orange coat begs to be brushed, and he enjoys it when given some gentle attention. Around other cats, Nacho is friendly and even does playful 'body bumps' as he moves alongside his foster siblings. He fits in well with other felines and is curious, laid back, and always up for a calm interaction. He may need a little patience to feel safe, but he thrives in a home that offers warmth and gentle encouragement. If you already have a resident cat or are looking to add a companion to your household, Nacho could be a great fit. His foster mom will answer questions and arrange a meet-and-greet for serious adopters. Nacho is an orange American Shorthair cat, neutered, vaccinated, house trained, and nearly two years old, waiting in Lake City, MN. He is a June baby—a Gemini, which means he’s likely to be social and bright. Give Nacho the soft landing he deserves. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
