About Max
Max is a mellow, affectionate Siberian Husky who thrives as a loyal one-person companion. He’s around 2 to 3 years old and stands out for his laid-back attitude—especially for a Husky. Max settles in quietly with his favorite person, enjoys relaxed walks and gentle attention, and loves long, low-key afternoons together. He strongly prefers not to be kenneled and needs a home where he can have the run of his space and a sense of security. Max gets along great with people and is gentle with children, but he needs to be the only dog in the home to really shine. He isn’t comfortable living with other dogs or cats, but he makes up for it with his deep loyalty and sweet, easygoing nature. He’s neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Max is currently finishing heartworm treatment—his adoptive family will be supported throughout the process by the rescue. He is available for adoption both locally in Houston, TX and out of state, with transport available for approved homes. Max is ready for a new chapter with someone who wants a gentle, devoted buddy.
