Since only one cat was allowed per the rental agreement, his guardian was facing eviction or rehoming a cat. Buddy moved to our care to find a new home. PERSONALITY: Buddy is a very sweet and friendly (not to mention fluffy!) kitty who enjoys relaxing on cat trees and cozy beds; whether they’re intended for humans or cats, as long as they’re comfy he’s a happy boy. Buddy appreciates a human-kitty connection and being in contact with his person getting pets and attention. He also appreciates his food! Buddy will let you know when he’s hungry by patting his paw on your hand or shoulder. He gets so eager when you’re prepping his food that he might jump on the counter to "help". COMPATIBILITY: Buddy gets along with other cats. We don’t know his thoughts on dogs and have not seen him around children; we think a home with older kids ten and up would be best. This is a type of virus that typically causes some weakening of a cat’s immune system. It is a cat-only virus and cannot be spread through casual friendly contact between cats.
