Meet Elliot — a handsome 4-year-old German Shepherd weighing around 65 lbs, with a sharp mind. 🐾 Elliot is a very smart boy who enjoys showing off his tricks and walks respectfully on leash. He’s calm and focused during walks, even when being petted, and takes everything in stride. While he can be a bit wary when meeting new people — especially men — Elliot does best with slower, patient introductions that allow him time to feel comfortable and build trust. He would thrive in a home with respectful children who understand giving space when needed. Elliot came to the shelter with a female shepherd, but due to some dog reactivity we’ve seen in the shelter environment, we’re still learning how he may do with other dogs. A meet-and-greet would be important to ensure the right fit. Elliot is looking for a calm, understanding home where his intelligence and loyalty can truly shine. With patience and consistency, he has the potential to be an incredibly devoted companion 💙
