About Thor In Ga
Thor is ready to find his forever home! This gentle giant is a huge pup who will top out around 120 pounds of pure love and fluff. He's a very loving guy who adores being with his people and wants all the attention he can get. According to his foster mom, "He's a sweet boy that loves to snuggle and watch Robert Redford movies.” Thor's gorgeous long fur is perfect for petting during those cozy movie nights! This well-mannered boy is fully housebroken, leash trained, and crate trained, and he has great house manners. With a mellow activity level, Thor would thrive in a quiet, easy-going environment where he can enjoy both indoor snuggles and outdoor sunshine. He does wonderfully with easy-going dogs of either gender and can also be perfectly happy as an only dog. Thor is fine with cats, does well with children, and even gets along with chickens! He's not a digger, not a big barker, and has zero interest in escaping his yard (a 4-foot fence will be fine for him). Thor loves going for walks, meeting new people, riding in the car, and basking in the sun. And he really wants you to know that his favorite snacks are cheese and chicken! If you're looking for a devoted, sweet-natured companion who will fill your home with love, Thor is is your PYR-fect match! Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
