About Choice
Choice is a 7-month-old neutered male who came to rescue after being found hiding under a motel deck with two other cats. He was so frightened at the time that he simply surrendered to capture, unlike his friends who managed to escape. When he first arrived at Kaleidoscope, he was terrified and found comfort burrowing under blankets, especially while his skin was irritated and painful. With time and patient care, he's learned to accept gentle touches and now seeks out attention in his own quirky way—playfully booping people from underneath his blankies, even if he runs off the moment anyone tries to play back. Choice may act like he doesn’t want to be picked up, but he secretly enjoys being held tightly. Despite his shy exterior, this young cat becomes playful and silly when he thinks nobody’s watching. He gets along with other cats but prefers a calmer home with no more than a couple of quiet feline companions who understand anxiety. He finds too much noise and activity overwhelming, and dogs are definitely off his wishlist. Choice is hoping for a patient adopter to help him keep building confidence while respecting his boundaries. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
