This little lady is PEPPERMINT, a 2 year old female cat that was found as a stray and no one ever came looking for her. PEPPERMINT is having a bit of a hard time adjusting to the shelter life. While she is sweet, she is also very scared and nervous of her new surroundings so it’s taking her a bit longer to come around than some of the others. She does allow us to hold her and it seems like she finds comfort in human touch but she is also quick to want to just find another safe space to go. PEPPERMINT would benefit greatly with an owner that will allow her to feel comfortable before pushing her too much. She also seems pretty friendly with her neighbor, Bud, so maybe a nice cat friend in the home that could show her that everything is okay and not all humans are scary.
