A student found Petunia late at night alongside a busy highway.  She had a leg and hip injury apparently from the bite of an animal and she was terribly traumatized.  Petunia lost her tail as a result of her injury but once she was out of pain she was a new woman.   She is still a bit timid after her ordeal, and loud noises and sudden movements scare her.  She will take a moment to warm up to a person but she takes cues from the more confident kitties and always comes around if toys and treats are in the mix.  Petunia loves playing with her mouse toys, adores grooming sessions with her feline friends and loves attention from the humans she trusts.  A nice, quiet home with another cat would be perfect for this beautiful little Calico girl.
