About Guy
Guy is a large, handsome yellow Lab with a gentle presence. He comes across a bit shy at first, but he really opens up once he trusts you. Guy is made for those quiet afternoons on the porch—he’s ready to settle into his retirement years with a calm, steady companion by his side. While he's not too thrilled about his recent neuter, it hasn't dimmed his spirits much. Guy isn’t house trained yet, but with a little patience, he’ll get the hang of it. His teeth are freshly cleaned, and his vaccines, heartworm prevention, and flea and tick meds are all up to date. He enjoys the company of other dogs, so he’d fit right in if you already have canine companions. Guy is in Neosho, MO, and waiting for someone who appreciates a mellow, loyal friend to share life’s quieter moments. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Guy
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Guy, as a Labrador Retriever, does best in homes where there’s room to stretch out and plenty of companionship. Labs usually thrive in houses with access to a yard, but they settle well into family life if given daily exercise and attention.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Labs like Guy appreciate some outdoor space to play, explore, or just relax. A fenced yard is ideal, but daily walks and some porch or patio time will keep him content.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Labrador Retrievers are famously good with children. Guy’s mellow temperament makes him especially well-suited for a home with kids who respect a senior dog’s boundaries.
