Nova is a female Pit Bull Terrier currently at Burlington County Animal Shelter. She is an adult large dog who is house trained and spayed/neutered. Nova is looking for a loving home where she can be the only pet.

About Nova

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Nova has found herself returned to the shelter after her family's living situation changed. This sweet girl is missing her family, but she is ready to find her new happily ever after. Her three years in her previous home were spent well, and she knows many commands and is very well mannered—Nova can sit, stay, give her paw, shake, and she'll even play dead when you say bang bang! Due to a bite incident in 2021 when her owner was accidentally bitten while breaking up a dog fight, Nova cannot be adopted into a home with children or any other animals. She is looking for a patient, loving person who can help her heart heal. Don’t let her wait in the kennels too long—she deserves to feel the love and warmth of a home again. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
