At approximately 20 weeks old, Chewy has spent the past few months socialized with people, kids, and other animals, giving him a confident and friendly start on life. He's incredibly smart, energetic, and thrives in active homes where he can enjoy regular exercise and plenty of mental stimulation. Chewy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and shares his foster home with three canine siblings. He is sweet, social, and has a charming personality that keeps everyone smiling. Chewy loves being right in the middle of family activities, bringing joy and an infectious, happy spirit wherever he goes. This special pup had a congenital heart defect that was corrected with surgery at MSU, and he’ll need periodic ECG follow-ups to monitor his health—but these are expected to be routine, and he’s doing great. Chewy comes current on age-appropriate vaccines, has been fecal tested, and is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Adopt A Pup Animal Rescue is foster-based, so you’ll need to complete an application before meeting Chewy.
