Foster location: Flat rock, MI Meet our adorable Husky mix pup Chewy! Chewy is approximately 20 weeks old. He came into our rescue with 4 other siblings and his mom. These puppies have been in foster homes for the past few months and have been well socialized with people including children and other animals. They are very smart and active and would do best in an active home that will make sure they get all the exercise and mental stimulation they need. Chewy is great with other dogs and currently lives with three canine siblings. He has met kids with no concerns, and his personality is best described as sweet, social, and downright charming. He loves being around people, wants to be part of the action, and brings an easy, happy energy wherever he goes. 💙 Medical note: Chewy was born with a congenital heart defect and had surgery at MSU to help correct this issue. Chewy will need periodic ECG follow-ups to monitor his heart. These are expected to be routine and relatively minor, and he is doing very well. We are happy to discuss details with approved adopters. The puppies adoption fee is $450, they come current on age appropriate vaccines, fecal tested, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. We require a $150 spay/neuter deposit that will be returned with proof of spay/neuter within 6 months of adoption. The first step towards meeting the dog(s) you are interested is to complete an application.
