About Mystery Science Theater
Mystery Science Theater is a 6-month-old orange tabby full of personality and one-of-a-kind spirit. Mystery arrived with a rare congenital urinary blockage, which required a complex surgery that local vets had never seen before. It took several months, a stretch in kitten diapers, and another UTI for Mystery to finally strengthen his pelvic muscles and gain full litter box independence. Now, he’s thriving and available as a foster-to-adopt. Potential adopters should know a few key things. Mystery must remain on urinary food to help prevent future blockages and can’t be left alone for extended periods without reliable pet coverage. If another blockage happens within 3 years, the rescue will cover PU surgery, but they need to be notified before he goes to the ER. He may one day need that surgery, which could again affect his continence, though this isn’t expected soon. Mystery is highly affectionate, playful, and loves interacting with people. He needs plenty of stimulation and will thrive in a home with kids, playful dogs, or active pet parents who can dedicate time to his play needs.
