About Seymour

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Seymour is a true survivor with a zest for life and a heart full of love. Rescued from a dire situation after a car accident left him with serious injuries, Seymour has bounced back through surgery, resilience, and unyielding spirit, now confidently navigating the world on three legs. His journey has only made him more energetic, playful, and full of curiosity—he loves climbing, running, and engaging in lively games of chase or ambush, showing off not just his adaptability but also his hidden black stripes on a handsome grey-blue coat. Socially, Seymour flourishes in the company of active cats who can match his playful energy. While he hasn’t had much exposure to dogs, a gradual introduction may work well; however, young children aren’t the best fit given his mouthy, rambunctious play and preference for respectful handling. Seymour is incredibly people-oriented, loves gentle head and chin scratches, and will gladly chase toys for 20–30 minutes at a stretch, especially those with catnip or his favorite treats. He’s clear about his boundaries and thrives in a home where his cues are honored, particularly around his sensitive amputation site. Seymour would do best in a cat-savvy home with a playful companion and people who appreciate both his affectionate moments and his desire for independence. Despite only having three legs, he keeps up just fine with his feline friends and is less likely to leap onto counters, making him a fun and unique addition to any home. He’s currently growing and thriving in a multi-cat foster environment and looks forward to meeting the loving family who will embrace his energy, spirit, and special needs.
