Wookie — sometimes called "Wookie the Electric Cookie" — is a scruffy, small terrier mix with a big, happy personality. At about 3 years old and 8.5 pounds, he’s settled into a busy foster home full of people and other dogs, matching the household’s energy while staying affectionate and calm. His foster sums him up as "a party on four legs" who loves being at the center of any action, but he can snooze peacefully when the pace slows down. Wookie’s house trained for the most part; a little marking in the early stages likely had more to do with multi-dog scents than habit. He’s crate trained, respected out of the crate in the house, and adapts smoothly to family routines. He gets along well with dogs similar in size or larger but could show mild assertiveness toward much smaller dogs. He hasn’t been tested with cats, other animals, or very young children, so those matchups are still uncertain. Wookie comes across as social, steady, and always up for affection — sometimes a bit too eager, so a little more work on polite greetings would help. He’s treat-motivated, learns quickly, and hasn’t shown any behavior issues or anxiety.
